  1. Did you know that when you go to Google, a popular Internet search engine, and type in “What’s new in Mental Illness Recovery?” that most of the information that comes up is related to Substance Abuse?  We’d like the recovery word to be associated with mental illness recovery as well as substance abuse recovery.  We’ll keep searching for “What’s New in Mental Health Recovery” to see how successful we are in our task to “Increase Recovery Awareness”.
     

  2. The Center for Recovery Awareness (CFRA) will celebrate it’s opening on Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 1000 AM – 200 PM at DISH, Inc., on 120 Grove Street, Battle Creek, Michigan 49017; (269) 966-9050.  This event is open to the community so come on down!
     

  3. National Mental Health Consumers' Self-Help Clearinghouse:  provides articles, information, and news stories about what is new in Mental Health Recovery and other mental health issues. Visit them at: www.mhselfhelp.org/whatsnew.html
